EP is obtained from oil:

True – EP component are carbon, hydrogen and 98% air. EP is obtained processing styrene, an oil molecule, that comes from polymeric process, styrene and hydrocarbon mixing, create the expanded structure.

EP is synthetic that is why is dangerous for environment:

False - EP is not toxic, it doesn’t contain CFC or HCFC ( the components that cause the greenhouse affect )

EP can’t be recycled:

False – EP is 100% recyclable EP scraps can be used for new board, packages or plate. EP incinerated produce as much energy as oil.

EP packaging is better than paper ones.

True – new studies about EP and paper confirm that EP ones are perfect to storage and keep goods.

EP makes you save money:

True – EP is light that means no extra cost for transportation and oil. It is a good insulating that means no thermo dispersion ( 1kg of oil makes 150kg saved for 50 years, therefore you can save 3 /6 m³ of natural gas in one year with a house insulated by EP panel )
